Semma is a lovely Southern Indian spot in the West Village. I loved this meal- probably the best Indian I’ve had in the city. Led by Chef Vijay Kumar, Semma brings you inside the local cusine by using regional ingredients and injecting his personal experiences in each dish. Fun fact- Semma is the only Indian restaurant in the country that was awarded a Michelin Star! The Gunpowder Dosa is a must to order and I loved the Kaikari Kurma. Complete your meal with a side of rice and bread and you’re set!
